Our current agri-food system relies on a large pool of young workers: farmers, farm workers, processors, distributors and retailers. In this session veteran farmers will learn how to engage and keep the youth on the farm. Hear the perspectives of a visionary/historian, a recent UGA graduate, and a farmer. Gain insight into how to keep young people engaged in agriculture for decades to come and get practical strategies to keep them engaged in farming.
